Matt McCullough was appointed to the Seagoville eldership in 2022. Matt grew up in South Texas, served in the Marine Corps for 6 years and is a Desert Storm Veteran. He graduated from A&M in 2000 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and has been working in research and development of high-end servers and computer related technologies for over 20 years.
Matt has been active in the church, serving as a deacon, coordinating Vacation Bible School programs, promoting and working with World Bible School activities, teaching bible classes and song leading. In 1988, he married his lovely wife, Kelly, who graduated from UT Southwestern and works as a registered dietitian and health coach, while providing community and health professional education courses. She has been active in the church over the years by teaching ladies and children’s classes, speaking at Ladies’ Day events, leading songs, organizing and teaching at VBS, and serving as a girl’s counselor for several different camps across the state of Texas.
They have one daughter, Morgan, born in 2001 who is a graduate of Texas A&M University class of 2023 pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology.
