Happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Word” (Psalms 119:1). “How can a young (person) keep his way pure? by guarding it with God’s word” (Psalms 119:9). “Receive with meekness the implanted word of God and it will save your soul” (James 1 :21 ). “Faith comes by hearing; and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:·17). What each of these passages from God’s word is promising are GREAT blessings by listening with obedient hearts to God’s word! ·hese blessings include: happiness in the face of trials and suffering, 1 keeping ourselves morally good, having our consciences cleaned, ~· • and growing in our faith in God when doubts attack us. It’s hard for young and old alike to accept this simple truth when we . allow God’s simple truth to be influenced and watered-down by the f nessage of the world. But if we will accept the Bible as the truth sent • > us by God, then our God will crown us with salvation and blessings ! for a true and better life.
