“For God so loved [the people of Bhutan] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
The Kingdom of Bhutan is a landlocked country in South Asia. China and India are bordering countries. Bhutan has a population of only about 743,000. Its capital and largest city is Thimphu. Bhutan’s official language is Dzongkha. Its religion is Buddhism. Our prayer today is that the Bhutanese people will turn away from the emptiness of idolatry and serve the only true God (1 Cor. 8:4-6).
