“For God so loved [the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country in Southeastern Europe located on the Balkan Peninsula. Croatia, Serbia, and Montenegro are neighboring countries. Bosnia has a population of about four million. Its capital and largest city is Sarajevo. The dominant religions in Bosnia and Herzegovina are Islam, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Roman Catholicism. Our prayer today is that the Bosnian people will bow the knee only “at the name of Jesus” and confess the he is “Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil. 2:10-11).
